Conducting a concert of the 6 chosen compositions at St John’s Smith Square, London with musicians of the London Chamber Orchestra. Conducting a day of workshops with 6 new compositions working with musicians from the London Chamber Orchestra and composer Diana Burrell as part of the East Festival.

City of London Symphonic Winds...

FEBRUARY and JUNE 2010

Conducting a concert focused on English pastoral music with the City of London Symphonic Winds at St Paul's Church Covent Garden. Conducting a repertoire day of selected music.

Cambridge University New Music Ensemble...

NOVEMBER 2009, JANUARY and FEBRUARY 2010

Presenting 3 concerts and 4 workshops (including an education workshop with 60 16-18 year old students) focused on the music of Vivier, Takemitsu, Muhly and Torke, as well as new compositions by the students of Cambridge University. Working with composers Nico Muhly and Robin Holloway and violinist Steve Bingham.

Music Associate for English Touring Opera HANDELfest...

SEPTEMBER and OCTOBER 2009

Worked on 5 Handel Operas (Alcina, Ariodante, Flavio, Teseo and Tolomeo) including assisting the 5 conductors, as part of English Touring Opera’s Handelfest Autumn 2009 tour.


Colorado Symphony Orchestra - Earshot New Music Readings...

JULY 2009

Conducted Tim Sullivan’s “Polychrome” with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.

Advised the 4 student composers along with fellow conductor Delta David Gier and

composers Robert Beaser, Derek Bermel, and Roberto Sierra.

Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra...

FEBRUARY 2009

Conducting Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra at Musashino Civic Cultural Hall with the Tokyo Philharmonic in a program of Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite, Tippet’s Ritual Dances, Chopin’s Piano Concerto No 1 and Debussy’s Prélude à ‘L’après-midi d’un faune’.
